This thing is loud as hell. I can hear it outside my door when it is closed. Also it has no power. It has 2 speeds that are only slightly different then the off position. Can't clean it well since it has many cracks and after using it twice without success a month ago the little metal beads on the top got some weird green corrosion. This was the first vibrator I ever owned. It got the job done, but It has a few down sides. The screw kept unscrewing about 6 months after I bought it and since then it has totally died. I had it about two years. On top of that...once you tighten the screw back in it loses its ability to change speeds and sometimes it turns off while you are using it. I only paid $1.00 and I see why. Also, the packaging could have been a lot better. It cam in a manila envelope and it was wrapped in bubble wrap. This made me nervous...is it used? It makes you wonder. On top of that my mother got the mail that day and asked me what it was. I had to convince her it was candle sticks! If you live alone then thats fine, but if you dont want anyone asking questions then pass on this.

This is the first toy I've ever owned, but I love it! I got mine for $0.79. I received it in about three days! But it came in an orange envelope wrapped in bubble wrap, so if you have any nosy people that like to snoop through your mail, don't buy this. Half the flap of my envelope was open, and the item inside was practically visible. (Be the first to the mail box if you want to keep this a secret.) The picture showed me a metallic purple color, but I got a PINK one... woohoo... plus to that. It works great with many different speeds, but be careful. Get a little over excited when using it and it can change speeds on you very quickly. That's the only downside, besides the fact that it comes in poor packaging and you pay 5 or so dollars on shipping.

If Amazon is going to start selling sex toys, for the love of god could they consider using better packaging? A padded mailing envelope is not the appropriate wrapping for a 7" vibrator. So if you are the least bit squeamish about your mailman, or your doorman, or your roommate knowing that you ordered a vibrator, then you best steer clear of ordering this.

Having gone through three of these with my girlfriend I find it amazing that no other review here mentioned the switch overheating and melting.



The plastic that houses the switch is made out of low-melting-point plastic and when it melts it shorts out the switch. Burning plastic smell, hot to the touch, destruction of toy.



Doc Johnson should really recall and recreate these with a harder plastic (like the solid white plastic they use for other toys) because these are by far the best stimulators around. To avoid re-buying them over and over again I switched to using the switchless single-AA models, modified at home by drilling a hole in their base and connecting a vibrating egg remote to it, in effect getting the same 2AA power without the faulty switch (plus egg remotes usually have the ability to vary strength or even have different pulse settings.)



If you find this model in solid white it should be good.
