I turned it on when i first got it just to check it out and it worked fine then when I actually went to use it the button wouldn't work and it wouldn't turn on at all unless the cap was off and it moved a certain way. Didn't even get one use. Don't waste your money!!

Took out of the box, removed the battery shield inside the compartment, and tried to turn it on... it only worked when I was smashing my finger down on the button with extreme force. Tried to fix it by jiggling the button... now it doesn't work at all. Never got to find out what the higher speeds are like or try it out at all. This thing sucks. I want my $7.95 back.
